The Client software communicates with the Print Driver, the Print Device and Synappx Cloud Print for authentication and discovery.
The client software will need to be installed on a Windows PC that is on the same local network as the MFPs. This is for the device discovery, (if admin), and also for printing purposes.
Note: The Client installation will set a Firewall rule to open port 59080
The Synappx Cloud Print Client software is available from the Microsoft Store [View Image].
Click Install [View Image].
The client will automatically install [View Image].
When the Client has installed the Client screen will be displayed.
Please sign in using your supplied tenant account [View Image].
On first sign in you will receive a Firewall message, please allow access so that firewall rules can be implemented for the Client [View Image].
Login using your username and password login credentials [View Image] [View Image].
When logged in you will see the Client main page My Files which will be empty [View Image].
Once logged in, click on the Settings tab.
Select the printer being used for printing to Synappx Cloud Print.
Click [Restart] to restart the Client [View Image]
Once restarted, you will need to sign in again by clicking Sign In, (you will be automatically signed in). You can check you are successfully signed in by checking the username displayed.
Check that the MonitorApp is running by checking for its icon in the hidden items menu of the system tray in the task bar [View Image]
At this point you can send a test print from your Print Driver and the print job should be displayed in the client software by clicking the “My Files” tab [View Image]
