Windows Print Logging

So that the Portal correctly logs the number of print pages, Windows Print Logging needs to be enabled on any PC that will be running the Client software

Enabling Windows Print Logging

On the client PC open a Command Prompt as Administrator [View Image].

  • From the search box type CMD
  • Right click on Command Prompt and select “Run as administrator”

 

In the command prompt type the following:

wevtutil sl Microsoft-Windows-PrintService/Operational /e:true then press Enter [View Image].

The printer driver needs to be a suitable Sharp PCL 6 Driver. These are available from the Global Sharp website [View Image]:

The Synappx Cloud Print Client software can be downloaded from the Microsoft Store [View Image].
