When using Google WorkSpace as a Provider it may be necessary to make some changes in settings to allow the App to be trusted by Google. Generally production apps are trusted but these steps are included just in case this is not correct for your organisation:
Access the API controls of the Google WorkSpace admin console: https://admin.google.com/ac/owl
Click MANAGE THIRD-PARTY APP ACCESS
Click View list of Accessed apps [View Image].
Click the correct App name [View Image].
Click Access to Google data of the app
Click Trusted and then Save [View Image].
